Well, they went through with it. Henry and Stacy tied the knot, for eternity. The wedding and reception went great on that steamy Saturday, and then they enjoyed a short little weekend in Annapolis alone before they drove to Arkansas on the very next Monday.
The honeymoon officially started in Arkansas on the Greasy Valley Ranch where they met up with yours truly. We spent an eventful day packing the U-haul on that Tuesday and then Wednesday started our journey together out west. The first stop on the honeymoon was in Texas for me and in Oklahoma City for Stacy and Henry at our brothers' homes. Then on Thursday we met up in Amarillo and headed to Albuquerque, where I had the privilege to drive the U-haul through rush hour traffic--those things handle well, very smooth!! Then we headed north and made it to Monticello, UT, where we shared a hotel room......awkwaaaard.......
The next day we started up highway 191 towards Provo and decided to stop into Arches National Park in Moab, it was awesome. Then we continued the journey and made it to their new humble abode in Orem, UT, where we unloaded the U-haul and started moving in. Its a nice little apartment: Henry & Stacy have their room, I have my room, and we share a bathroom, its cute.
The following week we had multiple family activities: a trip to the movies together, game nights together, breakfast, lunch & dinner together, trips to play tennis together, it was just wonderful being together for the honeymoon.
Henry was thrilled to have me, the new brother-in-law, along! Check out this pic of us in Moab:
You don't know me (officially), but your blog is a popular topic of discussion in certain social circles. I can see why - this made me laugh a decent laugh. I can't wait for part 2!
