How do you sleep?

Few things in life are as sweet and refreshing as sleep; I love sleep.  But sleep is also funny.  Have you ever just sat and watched people sleep, its hilarious.  You got all kinds of positions:  stomach, side, back,   fetal position, sprawled out, curled up, head bobbing, slouched over, mouth wide open, etc.

Now Ridge is practically narcoleptic; he falls asleep within minutes of sitting still.  Its ridiculous.  Recently we were on a plane ride to Arkansas.  As soon as we boarded, Ridge pulled out some homework to study during the flight, he wasn't tired.  While he was doing this, we were having a conversation in which Ridge stopped talking.  I looked over and he had fallen asleep--in his traditional pose of head back, mouth open--in mid-conversation!!

Here's a pic from another moment of both Ridge and Joseph, during a very important church broadcast.

Now as for me, I can sleep most anywhere if I'm tired; and, when I'm tired, I can pass out as quickly as the best of em, even Ridge.  But I do have one preference you see.  I sleep on my right side, and right side only, every night.  Thus when I am in a car, plane, train, bus, etc, I like to sit on the right side so that I can lean on my right side against the window, my preferred sleeping position.  Well Ridge doesn't know this of course, and unknowingly booked my flight to and from Arkansas in a window seat on the left side of the plane.  Knowing that this was an innocent mistake and just wanting to inform Ridge of my preference for future bookings, I simply said "Hey just so you know in the future, if you ever book me a flight again, get me a seat on the right side of the airplane.  I sit on the right side of the airplane." Ridge thought this absurd, and now keeps giving me a hard time about my ridiculously picky demand.  Now who's right here?  Am I being ridiculously picky or just appropriately informing a friend of a personal preference he didn't know?  I think I'm just practicing good healthy communication.  Anyways, How do you sleep?  Wouldn't you like a seat somewhere that accommodates your sleeping preferences as well?

Is it just me or does Ridge always kind of seem to be the little spoon.

  2. Do you remember the one of him in the fetal position on the couch with his woman... , or the one of the three of you hard studying?
